PTO Meeting - October 20th
4:00 pm - Media Center
4:00 pm - Media Center

Cape View Families,
As many of you have heard, the district is exploring the possibility of a school consolidation. While discussions are still in the early stages, our focus remains on our students, staff, and the strong sense of community that makes Cape View so special. This decision has not been made and will be up for a vote in January.
No matter what lies ahead, our Rocket family will continue to stand together. We’ve always been a community built on kindness, teamwork, and care for our children, and that will never change. Together, we’ll lift each other, keep communication open, and focus on what truly matters — creating the best learning environment possible for our students.
Please stay tuned for the date of a parent meeting, where you can share your concerns and have your questions answered. In the meantime, let’s continue to come together, show our Cape View pride, and move forward as one united Rocket family.
Our PTO has created several platforms to come together as one.

Cape View Supporting Military Families
The Florida Purple Star School of Distinction Designation was established by the Florida legislature in 2021 and further defined in Rule 6A-1.0999, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). The Florida Purple Star School District Program was established by the Florida legislature in 2024. Once awarded, schools and districts will maintain their designation as a Purple Star School of Distinction or Purple Star School District for three school years.
The purpose of the Purple Star School of Distinction Designation and Purple Star School District Program is to recognize schools that support the unique needs of military families, help military-connected students navigate critical challenges and provide resources for military-connected students when transitioning to a new school environment.
We are asking our military families to please send in a photo to hang on the wall of distinction in the front office. Our goal is to support you in many ways!

We need you!!

The SAC committee assists the school principal with budget and recommendations on how school monies are spent or allocated.
