Student Led Transition Program
BPS is committed to ensuring a peer-led, safe, and positive transition for students from military families into our schools.
Gardendale's student-led transition program will assist new military students with becoming familiar with Gardendale's school community. Upon enrollment or during the school tour, our Level 3 students will help guide the student around the school, describing the various areas of the building and what to expect during the school day. The students can also answer any questions the student may have as they relate to the school. Our Level 3 students will also discuss: school procedures, school events and activities, the school day, lunch, recess, and activity classes.
Families, please inform your school of exceptional education services at enrollment.
