Mrs. Hodge’s and Mrs. Lawrence’s 4th Grade Gifted Class Butterfly Garden Project
Mrs. Hodge’s and Mrs. Lawrence’s 4th Grade Gifted class initiated a project to enhance the beauty of our campus by creating a butterfly garden. The students collaborated to research, prepare, and design this garden, aiming to bring tranquility and peace to all who visit.
The students were divided into committees based on their preferred learning styles, each working diligently to involve the entire school in the project.
Last week, Holland Elementary held it's 60th Anniversary Celebration, commemorating 60 amazing years of shaping young minds and building lasting memories! Here's to six decades of excellence in education, community, and growth. Thank you to all the staff, students, and families who’ve made this milestone possible. The Literati Story Arcade Book Fair is coming to Holland Elementary on January 27th– 31st, 2025! Families are specially invited to visit the fair during Literacy Night on January 30th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Every purchase supports our school!

School grades were released by the Florida Department of Education on July 24, 2024, and Holland Elementary School has once again earned a grade of A for the 2023-2024 school year! Congratulations and many thanks to our phenomenal students, faculty, staff, and parents!
Our dedicated team has been hard at work finalizing class placements for the upcoming school year! Individual letters containing this exciting information will be sent to each family via US mail during the first week of August. Join us on Thursday, August 8th for our Meet Your Teacher & Holland Family Social from 10:00 am-noon! You will get to see the classroom, meet your new teacher, and drop off school supplies. After that, stop by the cafeteria for pizza and fellowship! If you ordered your child's supplies from 1st Day School Supplies, your kit will be available for pick-up in the cafeteria as well. We hope to see you there!
