This week we celebrated Literacy Week at Meadowlane Primary. Students in Kindergarten were invited to bring a stuffie to the library for a "Stuffie Sleepover"! Meadowlane Primary is excited to share that we have been designated by the Florida Department of Education as a 2024 Purple Star School of Distinction! The Purple Star School of Distinction Designation, established by the Florida Legislature and signed into law in June 2021, recognizes schools that support the unique needs of military families. We are so proud to have been recognized for this distinctive award!

Elementary Reading and Math Family Nights! At these events, families will be guided on how to seamlessly integrate reading and math skills into their daily routines. Hands-on activities will be provided to practice these concepts at home, demonstrating how everyday situations can be learning opportunities for both reading and math development.

2024-2025 MPE Grade Level Supply Lists! Don’t forget that the 2024 Florida Back-to-School sales tax holiday begins on July 29th and lasts through August 11th. Families are welcome to drop off supplies in their classrooms at our Meet and Greet on August 7th from 8:00-10:00 a.m. We hope all our families are enjoying their summer!
