Potential VPK Parents/Students:
The VPK children enrolled in the Pirate Preschool VPK program experience the unique opportunity to learn from a variety of student-teachers throughout their day. Working under the supervision of the early childhood teacher, Ms. Pelchat, and the paraprofessional, Ms. Looney, the student teachers plan and implement age-appropriate math, language arts, science, social studies, arts, fine & gross motor lessons daily. All lessons are based on the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. With so many teachers working at one time our VPK students benefit from one-on-one, or very small groups of 2 or 3, throughout their entire day!
