Upcoming Training/Webinar
Many students don’t realize that flight training can begin while they are still in high school, and there are multiple paths depending on their goals. At Melbourne Flight Training, we help students who want to:
Fly for fun as a hobby
Start working toward a career as a professional pilot
Attend college for aviation while flight training
We offer two types of FAA-approved training programs:
Part 61 – Flexible scheduling, great for students balancing school and activities
Part 141 – A more structured, career-focused program that follows a set training syllabus
For students planning to pursue aviation professionally, we also partner with Purdue University, allowing them to earn a college degree in aviation while completing their flight training.
Students can begin with a simple introductory flight to see if flying is right for them, and our team is happy to walk them and their families through the process, timelines, and career options.
