Thank you to all of our Stone families who took time out of their busy schedule to attend our Open House on Thursday night! We enjoyed meeting and interacting with all of our Gopher family!

Are you a student eager to make your voice heard by the administration team? Do you want to discuss the issues that truly matter to you? If so, consider being part of the Stone Student Voice Committee. Details in the attached image.

Stone's Fall Portrait Picture Retake Day is on September 30th. If your student missed picture day or you are dissatisfied with your pictures, you may have the pictures redone on this day. See attached image for more details.

Reminder! Stone's Open House will be tomorrow, Thursday, September 4, starting at 6pm. Come meet our principal and your student's teachers. Get a chance to walk your student's schedule and see a little bit of what their day is like!

Congratulations to our two outstanding Stone students of the month for August!

Beginning Tuesday, September 2, Stone will begin fully enforcing the district’s Wireless Communication Device (WCD) Policy. We ask that you please review this policy with your student(s) in advance.
Key Reminders:
No WCDs are permitted from the start of the school day until dismissal (this includes during class change and lunch).
WCD’s include, but are not limited to: cell phones, AirPods, personal laptops and headphones.
Devices must be turned off and put away prior to entering the campus until the dismissal bell at 4:15 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 3:15 PM (Friday).
Exceptions will be made for IEP’s or 504’s following specific plans.
Corrective Actions for Violations Include:
Referrals and confiscation of the device.
On a first offense, students may retrieve their device from 4:15-4:30pm without a parent/guardian present.
Please note: Buses will not wait for students delayed due to retrieving a confiscated device.

Thanks to all the students who came out to the BTS Dance last night! Also, thanks to the teachers, staff and high school students who volunteered and made the dance possible! It was a great way to kick off the new school year!

Please Congratulate Stone's first Custodian of the Month of the 2025-2026 school year for August, Mr. Bruce Symonette. He was chosen for going above and beyond, helping lift all the really heavy stuff, moving furniture and doing a great job keeping our school sanitary and clean.

Here is a great opportunity for our Stone families! It is free and no preregistration is required. Consider taking part in FamFest on Saturday, October 11 from 3-6pm at the Frank T. Forester Recreation Center.

Students in science research were field agents for the day as they applied qualitative and quantitative data collection methods during their observations of aliens.

Congratulations to the Stone Boys and Girls 2025 Basketball Team!!! Make sure you come out and see them dominate at this season's basketball games!!!

Reminder! Back to School Dance tickets sold all this week during lunches! Dance is Friday, August 29 from 3:15pm until 5:30pm in the cafeteria. Tickets cost $10 and includes entry and free food and drink all night! Dress is school day casual.
