April is designated the Month of the Military Child and is a time where military bases, cities, and school districts take time to honor our youth of military families. As part of this month-long celebration, schools and local communities are invited to take part in Purple Up Day! which is being recognized in Florida on Friday, April 18, 2025. We ask that all students and staff wear purple on that day.
Tonight is Stone's first volleyball game of the season! Please consider joining us at the Central gym at 6pm to support our volleyball players as they take on Central Middle School. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for under 18.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1 is the state writing test for all students in 7th and 8th grade. Please make sure your student gets plenty of rest, eats breakfast and gets to Stone on time, no later than 9:30am.
Please congratulate our Custodian of the Month for March, Ms. Amalia Krell. Ms. Krell received this honor for her hard work, attention to detail and exemplary inspections!
Stone will be having its Community Gala on Saturday, May 17 from 5-8pm. Cost is a $50 donation. This is a black tie affair which includes a night of dancing, food and celebration! Tickets must be pre-purchased at the front office of Stone.
Stone's Spring Fling Prom will be held on Friday, May 16 from 6-8:30pm. This year's theme is Hollywood Red Carpet. This is a dress to impress event, semi-formal to formal attire. Cost is $20 and includes free food and drink. Permission slips are required to purchase a ticket. Tickets will be sold beginning May 12 during all lunches. Everyone has bad days, but with Operation Green Light, you can visit the Moore Justice Center on one day only, Saturday, 4/12 from 8am-5pm and save 25% on delinquent court fines and fees and see if you are eligible to have your driver's license reinstated! See image for details!

Friendly Reminder...Stone students should return to school by 9:30am on Monday, March 24th.
The state writing test is Tuesday, April 1! Make sure you get plenty of rest, get to school early enough to eat breakfast! Try to be on time to your testing site before 9:30am. Do your best!
Brevard Public Schools will be hosting the 2025 South District Career Fair at Stone Magnet Middle School in the gym on April 9, 2025 from 5-7pm. The intended audience are students in 8th through 10th grade. We hope you can join us!
