A Brave Heart, A Bright Light: Remembering Vivian
With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Vivian Sleeth, a beloved fourth-grade student at Viera Elementary School. Vivian courageously battled Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare and aggressive form of childhood brain cancer, with a strength and spirit that inspired all who knew her.
Despite the challenges she faced, Vivian’s journey was one of extraordinary strength, joy, and resilience. Her boundless courage and zest for life touched the hearts of classmates, teachers, and our entire Brevard Public Schools community. Through it all, she reminded us what it means to truly live.
Vivian’s legacy will forever be a part of our BPS family. Her story has touched hearts across our community and beyond, helping raise awareness for DIPG and the urgent need for continued research.
We extend our deepest love and condolences to Vivian’s family and friends.
You will always be remembered.
Our hearts are hurting. Vivian fought hard and loved life to the fullest each and every day. She is the true meaning of perseverance, when things got hard she never, ever gave up. Viv spread love, laughter and a bright light in every interaction she had with her friends, faculty, staff and her family. Vivian had a huge impact on our community and changed us all for the better. We have so many beautiful memories of this sweet soul and will love her forever.
Forever a Falcon
