Students hone their creative-thinking skills when they learn to think divergently to solve open-ended problems that appeal to a wide range of interests.
Fifth and 6th grade participants meet after school to solve challenges that future explorers would face when living on Mars. They present their projects at a district competition.
Students work together to solve unique open-ended problems. Along the way, they learn STEM skills, teamwork, budgeting, goal-setting and more!
Students are challenged to learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams.
