Brevard Public Schools Earns Third Consecutive “A” District Rating
For the third consecutive year, Brevard Public Schools has earned an “A” district rating from the State of Florida. This year’s results included 17 schools improving their school grade—with four jumping two full letter grades—and 79% of BPS schools now earning an A or B.

Help Shape Brevard’s Future K–12 Math Curriculum!
The BPS Mathematics Department is launching the 2027–2028 Mathematics Curriculum Adoption process and invites parents, guardians, and community members to get involved. Share your feedback through the Parent & Community Stakeholder Survey or apply to serve on the Mathematics Curriculum Adoption Committee. Both opportunities are available August 3–September 4.

What's Happening in our District
A new partnership with Boys Electrical Contractors LLC is enhancing the Electricity Preapprenticeship Program by providing students with professional-grade tools and hands-on experience in skills like conduit bending and advanced wiring. This collaboration creates a seamless pathway into a registered apprenticeship, helping students build real-world experience and long-term career opportunities in the electrical trade.
Brevard Public Schools is committed to bringing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) opportunities to every school across Brevard County. From hands-on science experiments in elementary classrooms to robotics, coding, engineering design, and career-focused programs in secondary schools, students are encouraged to think critically, solve real-world problems, and explore innovative technologies.
Brevard Public Schools was highlighted in a recent issue of Brevard Businessview Magazine.
All-County Band gives students the opportunity to perform with top musicians from across the county, strengthening their musical skills, teamwork, and musicianship through high-level rehearsals and performance experiences.
The Bayside High School Machining Program provides students with hands-on training in modern manufacturing and precision machining. Students learn to operate industry-standard equipment, read technical drawings, apply measurement and quality control techniques, and develop skills in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
