Brevard Virtual New Student Application Timeline

Open Enrollment for the 26-27 school year will open in April 2026

Brevard Virtual operates a full-time, K-12 school for students residing in Brevard County.  Our program is blended, meaning that the majority of our program is online enhanced by face-to-face activities on our campus in Cocoa and in the community.

All full-time students will be required to participate in mandatory in-person activities.  If your family does not wish to have any in-person requirements, please consider our flex home education program (here). 

Steps to Apply for BVS Full-Time Enrollment, during open enrollment windows:

1. Review/Explore online resources.

2. Attend an Online Information Session.

3. Submit an Application for the enrollment.

Brevard Virtual utilizes the curriculum from Florida Virtual School, taught by amazing BVS teachers.  In addition to the online curriculum, our teachers offer live-online lessons and activities. To get a better picture of 'how it works', review the resources below.

Step #2:  Attend an Online Info Session

All online information sessions for January 2026 have been completed and the application window is now closed.

The schedule for the 26-27 Open Enrollment Window will be posted by April 1st.
