We are pleased to share that our 2025-2026 School Improvement Plan was officially approved by the School Board on September 9, 2025. This plan outlines our priorities and strategies for strengthening academic achievement, enhancing instruction, and improving the overall school experience for all students. The approved plan is available for your review on our school website at the bottom of the “Welcome” page ( https://www.brevardschools.org/o/cres/page/welcome ). There is a printed copy in the Parent Involvement notebook in the front office and printed copies can be made available upon request. To ensure all families have access to this important information, translation assistance can be provided by contacting the front office. We appreciate your continued support and involvement as we work together to create the best possible learning environment for our students.

Hello Croton Families,

Health First Bright Star program is inviting you to join them for an unforgettable day at Camp Bright Star on November 8th, where gnomes bring light, love, healing, and hope for the holidays. This free, one-day camp is for children ages 5-12. This is being hosted at Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach, and registration is required.

It combines emotional support and grief education with a range of fun, interactive activities, focusing on uplifting and therapeutic experiences in the healing arts. Campers will be encouraged to learn healthy ways to process grief, make new friends who share similar experiences, and discover meaningful ways to heal - and find hope for the holidays.

Croton's Parent and Family Engagement Plan has been completed and may be viewed on our website by clicking the "Parents and Students" tab, then clicking "Parents", then "Important Documents" at the top of the page. A copy of both the District's and Croton's Parent and Family Engagement Plans may be found in the Parent Notebook located in the front office. Translated versions of Croton's plan are in the notebook and on our website. To receive a copy of either plan, please contact the front office. A summary document of Croton’s plan will be coming home with students this month.

Kindergarten Enrollment March 24th - 28th for children who are NEW to BPS and who will be five years old on or before September 1st and all children who will be six years old by February 1st. Current BPS Pre-K students will not enroll for kindergarten until re-enrollment is open for all BPS students in July. They will start with an informational session in the gym promptly at 5:30PM. Afterwards you will have time to meet some of their teachers and learn about the programs and electives they offer.
