FAST Assessment Scores for Students in Grades K-2
Students in grades K-2 recently took the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST). This is the state assessment that tests students in English Language Arts (Early Literacy or Reading) and Math. Students take these tests three times per year (September, December, and April). The purpose is to monitor student learning and identify areas that need attention throughout the year. Scores are now available for parents to review.
The easiest way to access your child’s FAST test scores is through FOCUS. This is a critical tool, that is used to communicate important information, grades, announcements, etc.
To access scores:
Using the FOCUS Mobile App: Open the app, Click the blue box that says "More Info;" Click "Reports" Click “Florida TIDE Family Portal." All Test Scores will be available.
Using FOCUS on a computer: Log in to your child's FOCUS account; Click on the Florida Statewide Assessments LOGO
If you have not set up a FOCUS account, please visit the front office with your ID.
For students in grades K-2, a hard copy of the scores were sent home on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you would like any further information about these scores, or if you would like to meet with someone to review/discuss them in detail.
