FAST Assessment Scores for Students in Grades K-2
Students in grades K-2 recently took the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST). This is the state assessment that tests students in English Language Arts (Early Literacy or Reading) and Math. Students take these tests three times per year (September, December, and April). The purpose is to monitor student learning and identify areas that need attention throughout the year. Scores are now available for parents to review.
The easiest way to access your child’s FAST test scores is through FOCUS. This is a critical tool, that is used to communicate important information, grades, announcements, etc.
To access scores:
Using the FOCUS Mobile App: Open the app, Click the blue box that says "More Info;" Click "Reports" Click “Florida TIDE Family Portal." All Test Scores will be available.
Using FOCUS on a computer: Log in to your child's FOCUS account; Click on the Florida Statewide Assessments LOGO
If you have not set up a FOCUS account, please visit the front office with your ID.
For students in grades K-2, a hard copy of the scores were sent home on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you would like any further information about these scores, or if you would like to meet with someone to review/discuss them in detail.

FAST PM2 Scores are Available
Parents can access their child’s FAST test scores for PM2 through FOCUS. A hard copy was also sent home on or before December 19, 2024. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you would like any further information about these scores, or if you would like to meet with someone to review/discuss them in detail. As always, if you would like translation assistance, please contact our school’s front office.

2023-2024 District and School Report Cards
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires that a Local Educational Agency prepare and disseminate an annual Local Educational Agency report card and provide information on state, local, and school performance and progress in an understandable and uniform format.
District and School grades provide an easily understandable way to measure the performance of a school. Parents and the public can use the grades and their components to understand how well each district and/or school is serving its students.
Use the links provided below to view either the 2023-2024 Brevard School District Report Card or Palm Bay Elementary School Report Card. If you would like a printed copy or need translation assistance, please notify Mrs. Karen Reid at 321-723-1055
