NATIONAL CHAMPION in WRESTLING
6th grader
Rylee Beville
One of Roosevelt’s very own 6th grade girls is a “National Champion.”
She traveled to Tulsa, OK over the break and competed in the Tulsa Kickoff Classic for Wrestling.
Rylee not only competed…she dominated!
She beat the #3, #2, and #1 seeded wrestlers in that order.
Not only did she win a national title, but she did it while being the youngest and smallest in her division.

24 TRADITIONAL BPS SCHOOLS EARN "SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE" DESIGNATION- CONGRATULATIONS ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY

The State Board of Education has recognized Brevard Public Schools’ outstanding educational performance, designating 24 traditional B.P.S. schools and two charter schools as “Schools of Excellence.”
A school is honored with the title of School of Excellence only if it has consistently earned a high percentage of possible points in its school grade calculation, placing it in the 80th percentile or higher for schools of the same grade groupings (elementary, middle, high, and combination) for at least two of the last three school years.
Congratulations Roosevelt Elementary for again making this prestigious list!
Lillian K. in 5th grade is this year's first recipient of the Roosevelt Elementary SPACE Award : Students Pursuing Academic and Creative Excellence.
She was sent a special invitation to watch an upcoming launch from the countdown clock!
