Stevenson Families,
We've wrapped up another exciting week, and we have so much to celebrate! Our Read-a-Thon was a huge success thanks to the incredible participation and support from our students and families. Congratulations to Zoey P., who earned the most pledges, and to Tucker E., who read the most minutes. Altogether, our school logged an impressive 12,603 minutes of reading and raised over $3,230. A special shoutout to Mrs. Robinson’s class, who raised the most money and won a well-deserved pizza party! We’re so proud of all our students for the time they spent immersed in books and for the enthusiasm they brought to this event.
As we continue building a strong school community, we’re looking for parent support in several areas. There are volunteer opportunities and committees that could use a helping hand. If you're interested, please click here to view and sign up where you’re able. Your involvement truly makes a difference!
This week, we also completed all baseline FAST testing. Parents can access their child’s scores by logging into the Focus portal and clicking the “FL Statewide Assessment” button located directly below their child’s name and photo. If you’d prefer a hard copy of the results, feel free to request one from the front office.
Looking ahead, the first School Advisory Council meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at 4:15 PM in the Media Center. It’s a great opportunity to stay informed and involved in our school’s planning and progress.
Don’t forget—you can now pre-order this year’s yearbook! Click here to reserve your copy and make sure your child’s memories are captured for years to come. Our school ID #1168958 will be needed when you are in the site.
Finally, we’re thrilled to share that this week marked the start of our Enrichment Clusters, part of the Schoolwide Enrichment Model. These clusters foster student engagement, talent development, and personalized learning opportunities across all grade levels and subjects. It’s wonderful to see our students exploring their interests in meaningful and exciting ways.
Last week 142 families found and answered the hidden question correctly and earned 30 minutes of volunteer hours. Only our kindergarten students are exempt from wearing a belt as part of their uniform. I look forward to seeing how many participate in this week's question!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Have a wonderful weekend! I'll see you Monday in the car loop!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fleeger
