Stevenson Families,
I want to start by sending a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made my birthday so incredibly special this week. From the thoughtful cards and generous gifts to the festive balloons, delicious charcuterie luncheon, and sweet desserts — I felt truly spoiled and deeply loved. Your kindness made my heart smile, and I’m beyond grateful to be part of such an amazing school community. 💙
This week was also packed with fun and meaningful events! We celebrated Red Ribbon Week and Bully Prevention Week, and capped it off with our exciting Mad Scientist Day. A huge thank you to the Merritt Island High National Science Honor Society students for joining us and sharing their passion for science through engaging experiments. We’re also incredibly thankful for our parent volunteers — your support made this day of hands-on learning possible!
Looking ahead to next week, we will honor our veterans during our Veteran’s Day Celebration on Friday, November 7th at 9:30 AM on the back field. Please have your child bring a towel to sit on, and remember it’s a paid out-of-uniform day with a red, white, and blue theme. There will also be a volunteer meeting in the café at 9:00 AM before the celebration begins.
Please note: There will be no school on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.
Lastly, our 6th grade students are hosting a food drive to support local food shelters. (Hidden Question) The class with the most donations will win a pizza party, so please send in non-perishable food items starting Monday!
Thank you for your continued support and for making Stevenson such a wonderful place to learn and grow. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you Monday in the car loop!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fleeger
