Principal Message

Stevenson Families,

It's been another incredible week at Stevenson! We are thrilled to share the amazing results of our school-wide food drive. Thanks to your generosity, we collected a total of 2,172 canned and nonperishable items for the House of Hope in Merritt Island. A special congratulations to Ms. Sear’s class and Mrs. Poyerd’s class, who each collected 293 items, tying for first place and earning a well-deserved pizza party!

Our 3rd and 4th grade production of Nuts was absolutely amazing—our students’ talents truly shone on stage. We are so proud of their hard work!

A huge shout-out to our 4th grade families for treating our staff to a delicious luncheon from 4th Street Filling Station. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are greatly appreciated.

Please remember there is no school next week for Thanksgiving Break. When we return on Monday, December 1, a few important updates will begin:

  • Penguin Walk dismissal will utilize the Pikmykid app.

  • Breakfast will be served through the cafeteria lunch line each morning.

  • Volunteer Meeting will be held on December 5 at 9:10 a.m. in the cafeteria.

  • FAST Testing for grades 3–6 will take place December 2 & 3, and for grades K–2 on December 9 & 10. (Hidden Question)

As we head into the holiday, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our families for your continued support and partnership. We wish you a joyful and restful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. I'll see you Monday, December 1 in the car loop!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fleeger
