Principal Message

Stevenson Families,

What a wonderful first week of school! Our campus has been buzzing with excitement as we welcomed all of our students back for a new year of learning, growth, and achievement. We were especially excited to welcome our newest Penguins as our kindergarten students officially began their educational journey at Stevenson. It has been a joy to see students reconnect with friends, meet new teachers, and settle into their school routines. Thank you for your partnership in helping us start the year strong.

As we continue to fine-tune our arrival and dismissal procedures, please help us keep all students safe by following a few important reminders. The school parking lot is not a student drop-off area, and the turning lane on Martin Boulevard should never be used for drop-off. Students must exit vehicles from the passenger side only, and all vehicles should pull all the way forward before loading or unloading students. Your patience and cooperation during these busy times help ensure a safe and efficient process for everyone.

If your child completed the i-Ready Summer Challenge and has not yet turned in their orange challenge paper, please send it to school by Monday. Monday will be the final day for collection so that we can accurately plan for the number of celebration treats needed.

We look forward to welcoming families to our Open House for students in Grades 1 through 6 on Thursday, August 27. Please RSVP no later than Tuesday, August 25. The Book Fair will also be open for families that evening and will remain open until 6:30 p.m.

Fall Picture Day will be held on Monday, August 24. Students should be dressed in their school uniform for pictures. Families who would like to pre-order photo packages may do so using the Fall Picture Pre-Order Link.

In addition, the yearbook purchasing link is now live for families who would like to reserve a copy of this year's Stevenson yearbook. We encourage you to pre-order early to ensure your child receives a copy at the end of the year.

If you are interested in becoming a PAL (room parent) for your child's classroom, please provide your interest via this link.

Thank you for a fantastic first week of school. Our Penguins have already demonstrated enthusiasm, kindness, and a love of learning, and we are excited for the wonderful year ahead. We appreciate your continued support of our students, staff, and school community. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you Monday in the car loop!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Fleeger
