25 Brevard Schools Earn Top Honors as Florida Schools of Excellence

In a powerful testament to academic excellence and community commitment, 25 Brevard Public Schools have been named 2024–2025 Schools of Excellence by the Florida State Board of Education. These schools now stand among the top-performing institutions across the state, showcasing Brevard’s dedication to student success.

This prestigious designation isn’t just a title—it’s a reflection of years of hard work, innovation, and resilience. The Schools of Excellence program, created by the Florida Legislature in 2017, recognizes schools that rank in the top 20% statewide based on school grade performance. To qualify, schools must meet this benchmark for at least two of the last three academic years.
