Over 60 business partners from across Brevard County and 100 school-based PIE coordinators representing every school in the district gathered to kick off another school year of its Partners in Education program.

Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell was in attendance and welcomed the group, thanking partners for the role they play in Brevard classrooms. School Board Member Katye Campbell, who represents District 5, also attended and spoke directly with coordinators about the year ahead.

Partners in Education is a district-wide network of school coordinators and community partners. Together, schools are connected with businesses, organizations, and community members to create meaningful partnerships that benefit students, staff, schools, and the wider community. The model is straightforward: match school needs with community resources.

What makes the program work is that the rewards run both directions. Partners consistently report real growth for their own businesses and organizations as a direct result of the partnership.

Any business, organization, or civic group interested in joining can start by reaching out to the coordinator at the school they want to support — someone who is ready to explore new ways to build your organization while creatively meeting needs inside our schools.
