Community leaders, and organizations recently gathered at the Center for Collaboration as United Way Space Coast launched its 2026 campaign with a kickoff event centered around this year's theme, "Ride the Wave." The campaign, led by Dr. Mark Rendell, Superintendent of Brevard Public Schools and United Way campaign Chair, and Kathryn Rudloff, President of United Way Space Coast, aims to raise $4.6 million to support community programs that strengthen education, financial stability, health, and workforce development across Brevard County.

"As a school district, we see firsthand how community support can change the trajectory of a child's life," said Dr. Mark Rendell. "This campaign is about more than raising funds. It's about rallying together to create opportunities and hope for every student and family in Brevard."

The Brevard Public Schools workplace campaign begins October 13, with a district fundraising goal of $150,000. Employees across the district have an opportunity to support programs that make a lasting impact in the community. Contributions made through the campaign stay local and help provide critical resources and services for Brevard County residents.

United Way Space Coast and Brevard Public Schools invite employees, businesses, and community members to join the effort by giving, advocating, and volunteering to help create a stronger future for all.
