Reflecting on PSAT by Chloe Strong
Junior Alma Molander recently took the PSAT, a key standardized test for high school students preparing for college. While she gave her best effort, she felt the testing environment could have been a bit more focused. Molander said, “I don’t think I did as good as I could’ve,” Alma shared, “the proctor kept talking on the phone and to students, so it was distracting.” Despite the challenges, Alma remains hopeful about future testing opportunities and encourages improvements to ensure a fair and focused environment for all test-takers.
Reflecting on her PSAT experience, Junior Alma Molander noted a clear improvement compared to when she took the test as a sophomore. Last year, she felt less confident going in, but this time was different. “I felt more prepared because I now have more knowledge on the topics,” Molander explained. With an extra year of learning and experience under her belt, she approached the test with greater understanding and readiness. The progress she’s made highlights the value of continued learning and growth throughout high school.
