Theatre is something that has been around for centuries as one of the original ways people choose to express themselves. It has grown so much since it was first invented and it is now used commonly in high schools. An Enchanted Princess Party in theatre was a show aimed toward younger audiences where Disney princesses and characters came on stage and sang a song from their movie. The kids also got to do a fun meet and greet with their favorite characters and trick or treat.

As a younger kid, you tend to idolize the characters you see on screen like Ariel, Rapunzel, Peter Pan, Spiderman and Elsa. All of those characters were a part of the show along with more. As well as a magical experience, the Enchanted Tea Party can be inspiring for kids who might be interested in performing in the future to see what it could look like for them in high school. They got to watch a performance, trick or treat, meet and greet their favorite characters and everyone went home with a tiara or bubbles.

Victoria Woods and Evyn Vandegrift both had important roles in this year’s show. They play Meg from Hercules and Rapunzel from Tangled. Both saw the show as younger kids and really enjoyed it. Victoria’s older sister was in a Princess Tea Party when she was little and said watching her sister as a princess was a great experience. “Seeing my sister with her makeup and hair done as a princess was magical and almost surreal.”
