The Bulldog Science Research team performed amazingly well at last week’s Mainland Science and Engineering fair with 95% of our 22 team members earning a placement award with half receiving a 1st or 2nd place! Seventeen specialty awards worth nearly $1,200 along with $344,000 in scholarships were won. This totals over $2.1 million in scholarships won by our Bulldog mathletes in the past 5 yrs.
We have 8 students moving on to compete as state finalists. Please congratulate; Ella Drapeau, Evan Mellor, Ella Morrissey, Archit Kulkarni, Sofia Rodriguez, Enzo Carter, Darsh Kulkarni, and Kaedin Delaney for earning 1st place or a bid to compete at the state level fair. In addition, Archit Kulkarni won best of show earning him a bid to the international fair later this year to compete against students from around the world. Overall, this means our Bulldogs had nearly three quarters of the top projects in the categories we entered. Great job research team!
