Is a sports physical the same as an annual exam with my child's PCP?

It can be done simultaneously, but the doctor must complete the 2/25 revised version of the EL2 paperwork. Any other paperwork will not be accepted. 

Where can I get a sports physical?

Many places offer sports physicals, not just primary care providers. Many urgent care centers, chiropractic offices and orthopedic centers do them. 

When is the best time to get a sports physical?

June or July is the best time to get a sports physical, then the student is cleared for the entire school year. 

How long is a sports physical good for?

One calendar year

What if my child just had a physical done recently?

For students that have physicals on file from March 2025 or later, they can be accepted and uploaded to their Aktivate profile. For any physicals that were completed earlier than March 2025, we would need a new physical completed on the newly revised EL2 documents.
