BPS is proud to announce that eight district high schools have been recognized by the College Board on the 2025 Advanced Placement® (AP®) School Honor Roll, a national distinction awarded to schools that demonstrate outstanding commitment to student access, participation, and success in AP coursework.
The AP School Honor Roll celebrates schools whose AP programs deliver meaningful outcomes for students while expanding access to rigorous academic opportunities. Schools are honored based on criteria that reflect strong college-going culture, equitable participation, and high levels of college readiness through success on AP exams.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement® Program gives students the opportunity to take college-level courses in high school across 40 subject areas. AP courses culminate in a challenging exam, and students who score a 3 or higher may earn college credit, advanced placement, or both—saving families money while strengthening students’ readiness for postsecondary success.
