My nephews have lived in Kuwait, Germany, Alabama, New York, and Utah as part of the Army and Air Force. I was pregnant through much of my husband's deployment. The physical separation pushed us to communicate more effectively and work through problems as a team. We also learned to practice patience and positivity.
