Progress Monitoring Tests
FAST PM1 is right around the corner! We’re gearing up to begin testing soon. Your student will take the first progress monitoring assessment (PM1) for Grade 7/8 FAST ELA Reading and Mathematics on Tuesday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 27 (the week before Labor Day). Students in Algebra 1 Honors and Geometry Honors also will take a progress monitoring assessment during this timeframe. Make-up sessions and Small Group testing will be available from August 28–September 26.
The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) helps us track how students are progressing toward mastering the B.E.S.T. (Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking) Standards. PM1 results are for informational purposes only, and you’ll receive details on how to access your child’s scores after testing wraps up.
