Our goal is to promote second language acquisition and proficiency, coupled with academic achievement, in culturally responsive learning environments. As a department, we aspire to deliver nothing less than excellence to those we serve, our Emerging Bilinguals (a.k.a. ELLs), families, faculty, and staff members.
We strive to promote equitable instructional practices and positive learning experiences for our Emerging Bilinguals and their families.
